Description: This model is a study of the material and structure of the Latapie house. The house was simplified into its essential forms: the wooden core, metal structure, fibre-cement sheets and polycarbonate sheets. These were then represented in three different scales. The core is 1:20, the structure is 1:10 and the panels are 1:1. This abstraction highlights the assembly methods and intentions of the architects.
